Key Deckhand Responsibilities
- As a Deckhand, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the yacht’s exterior, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- You will assist with docking, anchoring, and mooring the yacht, ensuring safe and precise operations in all conditions.
- You will maintain the yacht’s exterior, including washing, waxing, and polishing the deck, hull, and other exterior surfaces to keep the yacht in pristine condition.
- You will assist with the maintenance of the yacht’s equipment, including handling ropes, cleaning gear, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
- You will assist the captain and senior crew members with navigation, ensuring proper lookout and reporting any hazards or obstacles.
- You will help with the management of the yacht’s tenders and water toys, ensuring they are properly launched, cleaned, and stored.
- You will be responsible for managing the yacht’s inventory of deck supplies, ensuring that all items are well-maintained and properly stocked.
