Key Chief Steward/Ess Responsibilities
- As a Chief Steward/ess, you will be responsible for overseeing all interior service and housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest level of service for guests and crew.
- You will manage and supervise the interior crew, delegating tasks, training, and ensuring that all staff members maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
- You will ensure that guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards, overseeing the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, dining areas, and common spaces.
- You will oversee meal service, ensuring that meals are prepared, presented, and served to the highest quality, accommodating any special dietary requirements or requests.
- You will be responsible for managing the yacht’s inventory of fine dining ware, linens, and other household supplies, ensuring they are properly stocked and maintained.
- You will handle guest requests with discretion and professionalism, ensuring that all needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- You will coordinate and organize events, both onboard and ashore, ensuring every detail is handled to perfection and guests’ expectations are exceeded.
- You will manage laundry and dry cleaning services for guests, ensuring that garments are handled with care and returned in pristine condition.
- You will maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the interior of the yacht, ensuring all areas are kept immaculate at all times.
- Lastly, you will collaborate closely with the captain, deck crew, and other staff to ensure seamless service and operations, providing a high-end, luxury experience for all guests.
